Pilgrim in the Valley
The Story This painting was done for the sister of the young man driving the wagon. On one level it depicts a covered wagon being driven into a Western sunset. On a more spiritual level it represents a particular young man’s journey by wagon from Illinois to Utah a few years ago, his spiritual awakening, and his untimely passing shortly thereafter.
