Meeting at the Mill

The Story
The setting for this painting is Bridgeton, Indiana in the mid 19th century.
They say this is the only place it Indiana where a mill, bridge and a waterfall
all exist together. A sleepy little town grew up around the mill and every year
they hold a festival there known as the Covered Bridge Festival. The mill is
still operating but sadly the bridge, built in 1832 was destroyed by an arsonist
in the Spring 2005.
